AITR ACM and ACM-W Student Chapter is pleased to introduce to you Prayatna, a nationwide hackathon, Prayatna, a thrilling 36-hour hackathon, is poised to be a premier platform for tech enthusiasts nationwide to showcase their coding prowess and innovative problem-solving skills.

This event is more than just a competition, it is a platform to channel one’s dedication and hard work towards addressing real-world challenges through technology. Prayatna aims to foster healthy competition and allow participants to develop their skills, make a meaningful impact, and contribute to a collective journey towards progress and excellence.

• Eligibility Criteria :
  • All students with a valid identity card from their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate.
  • All teams must consist of 4 team members with at least one female member.
  • A participant is not allowed to be a part of more than one team.

The competition will be conducted in 2 rounds, 1^st round will be completely online and the 2^nd round will be hosted offline at Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research, Indore. Shortlisted teams will be invited to the campus for the final round via mail.

• 1^st Round : 
  • Choose a problem statement from Data Science, Cyber Security, Web Dev, App Dev, or Blockchain.
  • Participants need to prepare a presentation explaining their solution for the selected project/problem statement.
  • The Last date for presentation submission along with the video explanation is 20th February 2024.
• 2^nd Round : 
  • Teams must develop a prototype of their project from scratch within 36 hours.
  • Mentors will be assigned to you according to your project domain.
  • Judging Criteria will be disclosed an hour before the hackathon begins.
• Other Guidelines:
  • All participating teams will receive certificates of participation.
  • Each team must designate one member as the team leader responsible for registering all team members. Unregistered teams will not be considered for participation.
  • Submission requirements include a PowerPoint presentation outlining the project idea based on the template provided. Submissions failing to adhere to the prescribed format will be rejected.
  • Teams must upload an explanatory video of their project alongside the presentation submission.
  • Teams will be shortlisted on the basis of their idea presentation and explanatory video.
  • Shortlisted teams will be notified via email.
  • To proceed to the second round, teams are required to submit a fee of Rs. 500.
  • All project work must be conducted during the hackathon period.
  • Plagiarism or copying content will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Violation of any rules or competition guidelines may result in the disqualification of the entire team.
  • The organizing team reserves the right to modify the rules at any time. All decisions regarding eligibility, authenticity, and final judgment rest with the organizing team.
